Eh. Yeah, okay. Go roleplay your Barbarian. Oh, too bad he's identical as 10000 other barbarians.

Doubleposting should be shot at sight.

I've never played the original games, but I have played a few spinoffs. So far GW is the only spinoff I really enjoy.

Anyways, why make another game in the series instead of starting something new... like diablocraft.

Well, because they don't have to do anything new. They could, they have the money, but that could mean damaging their potentially endless success -that's why StarCraft 2 is considered StarCraft (1) with a face paint, not that it's a bad thing. Besides, a Diablocraft would compete with StarCraft II, compete with themselves.

I dont like space based games or warcraft

I would play wow if it was free, but that fee is what really pisses me off

D3 will OUT SELL all games when i's released MORE COPYS then WOWS exps or any OTHER games

Thanks for telling me that. lol i r in a cave actually, seriously, i don't go out much, work work, watch way too many movies and play way too many computer games (just the few that I have). You can pretty much classify me as the player who stay in the dungeon looks pale and have very little social skills.

hahaha

i believe we've just have a candidate for Naomi Hunter if that was ever made into a movie.

Diablo 2 has replay value, because there are challenges. Guild Wars doesn't, because there are no challenges unless you handicap yourself, and even if there were challenges, there's really no reward.

Because Diablo 2 was more than successful, and Blizzard knows every single Diablo fan with money and time is going to get Diablo 3.

So true, Arkantos. I think that everyone who has played Diablo 2 for at least a month will buy Diablo 3. I'm thinking about buying 2 copies, one pre-order, then second after a year?

If you're starting d2 again now, check out the Eastern Sun mod(google for it). It's a massive mod and besides adding a lot of freshness to d2, it addresses many of the important concerns like inventory management, difficulty levels etc. New/modified skills, tons of new items, runes, runewords, horadric cube recipes etc. It is also excellently balanced, nightmare and hell become harder but your new/modified abilities help you manage it.

I wouldn't recommend it to someone who is trying d2 for the first time. But if you've played d2 earlier, you'll love the mod.

Wow, are you serious? I keep seeing that image as an avatar, and i've never heard of Naomi Hunter, and I actually thought it WAS a 3D rendering of Monica Bellucci. :S

This thread has inspired me to re-install Diablo II. Might do that right now.

Heard Diablo III was announced, went over to a friend's house to try Diablo II. Now I need to pull $40 out of my ass to get the Battlechest. I can't believe I haven't played Diablo II until now... Its graphics are ancient but it's addicting, and that's the thing that'll keep me playing.
